The link sticker is useful whether you're a business linking to products for sale or an influencer linking out to an external blog. By end of 2021, it officially introduced the "Link" sticker for all users, opening up the ability for everyone to include hyperlinks in their stories. In mid-2021, Instagram tested a link sticker that worked like the swipe-up link - only, viewers would tap instead of swipe. But to add a link to your story, you needed to be verified or have a business or creator account with over 10,000 followers. When used, viewers could swipe up on your story or tap an arrow at the bottom of their screen to open any page you linked - all without leaving the Instagram app. Instagram originally offered a swipe-up link tool that allowed select users to add hyperlinks to their stories. You no longer need a business or creator account, you don't need to be verified, and you don't need over 10,000 followers. But, in late 2021, it lifted all requirements, allowing anyone to add them to their stories. Once you have tagged all products, select Done.
Search your product catalogue for the product you want to tag. Select directly on the image where your product is that you want to tag. You will be redirected to a shopping tags management page where you can select an image to tag it with product information and make it available for purchase on your website. This can be found under Instagram account for an Instagram section or under Shop Feed for an Instagram page. Select Add shopping tags in the left side menu. Go to your Square Online site editor, and go to your Instagram section or page. You’ll need to upgrade to a paid plan to add shopping tags. You can tag your Instagram photo feed with the products from your Online store to make them easily shoppable on your website. You can manage your Account details or change the Section Content and Section Design. Use the menu on the left to Edit Instagram Shop. Select the +Add button in the upper left.Ĭhoose Page > Instagram in the drop down menu and select Add.
